Fantastic performance last night.

Cracking player, here for both title wins with goals and assists along the way - should be recognised as a City legend along with the core of that first winning team Hart, zaba, vinnie, yaya, silva, Sami and sergio.

The thing I will always say about Kolarov is when he is not pressed, and only has to worry about going forward he's decent. The problem lies when we see what happened in the first half. Dortmund ran out of steam and sat back - to be honest it was as if they wanted to go out of the Europa! When we play a Barca type team that presses and moves the ball quickly for 90 mins is when his limitations are evident. Having said all that, pleased as punch with them all tonight what a response from each and every one - we could have had 5 or 6 in the second half alone. Keep it up, plus we as a crowd need to be a bit more vocal. Hats off to the Dortmund fans (fights aside) their singing is pretty special.

First of all we played Borrosia Monchengladbach, not Dortmund. Jees ...

Both BMG goals came from the right side. For the first Kolarov had to go inside to cover up for our two CB's but the ball was played through for the extra man left. For their second it was a pinball goal that made us look silly, and again with no involvemment from Kolarov whatsoever. Now the times I did see Kolarov he was attacking, crossing, shooting, including his sneaky trickery ones every game. Pity he didn't get a chance to show his freekick specialty as well. Those elements is why I like Kolarov. And that's why Pellegrini rates him and why he is our number one leftback. There are only very few leftbacks in the PL or Europe who are better than him.

Someone should do a highlight reel of all his nutmegs. It seems like he megs someone every game.
He does, pretty much a guarantee and something me and the lads in my area have a bet on all the time! Haha!

I was thinking about this the other day. The likes of Bony and Mangala have to prove themselves yet [but not RS and KDB as far as I'm concerned]. However, if any of the players you mentioned retired tomorrow, they should be recognised as legends who were the core of the most glorious few years of the club's history to-date.
