Daily Mail: Bacary Sagna is considering leaving City after growing agitated at his bit-part role. Roma could make a summer move for him.

Re: Bacary Sagna

He's actually been perfectly solid of late, with his ability to win headers in particular is pretty useful in stopping attacks before they even start, but he's a complete non-entity going forwards. I won't remotely miss him if he does go, but he's done a decent enough stop gap job

Re: Bacary Sagna

Yep, I think its in city's best interest that sagna himself wants to leave. Although in my opinion sagna had been better than zabaleta defensively, zaba is younger and a warrior at heart so it would make sense to keep him and give him a chance to recover his form.

Clyne for sagna would be fantastic for city and would open up a non homegrown spot

Re: Bacary Sagna

I'm not sure why he thought he'd be anything other than a bit part player. Joining a team who'd just won the double who's right back was considered amongst the best in Europe, he was always going to struggle to get in.
He's actually played more than I thought he would. I would still have an under par Zabaleta in front of him.

Not sure what he expected, when Zaba is on his game he's the best in the country. And Sagna isn't the attacking threat we demand. Did he really think he could become first choice?

Wish him all the best in the future, thank him for what he's done, but I never saw him as anything more than a stopgap at best.
