I consider myself pretty literate with an average vocabulary.

I can tell layman about the greatest and most complicated developments in physics, a subject that is alien to most. Translating the complex to the more basic is something that I feel that I do well. I will never find the words either spoken or in literary form that can fully describe the talent and impact of David Silva.

That is probably the greatest compliment that I could personally give to somebody else.

Shall I try, seeing as I've always been more articulate than you? ;-)

He's utterly fucking brilliant.

Just the aesthetic of the way he moves is enough to give me goosebumps, never mind what he then does with the ball. Like David Duckham at rugby or Ali in the boxing ring or David Gower batting. Sheer elegance. My favourite ever City player

Great comparisons there. I will throw in Dennis Bergkamp and Johan Cruyf. An absolute elegance that is inate and not learned. I only watched the game once but wasn't there a moment when he almost pulled off a delicate little backheel in the midfield. It was simple...but sublime.

I tell you what he's going to do soon: Score one of the best solo goals that the premier league has ever seen. There have been numerous times that he's just foiled at the last second, but one will come off. Pellegrini has him getting into the box more than he used to this season, and it's paying off in goals. Because he plays so much with his brain and vision, he will play at the top level until his mid 30s, too.

As a Spanish lad, I've always been scared he'll go to Barcelona or Real, but the older he gets the less likely that is. I really hope he does a Vinny and marries a Mancunian girl.

My daughter is a stunner! Currently hooked up but anything can change!

Rules are rules.

Are 20 year contracts legal?

This lad should never be allowed to leave this club
That would be really stupid because according to some people he only passes sideways and backwards, and always fucks up when he goes forward. Not gonna name the idiot, his name might start with J and everyone knows him anyways

Brilliant player and a great pro, rated highly by every fan of another club i've talked to but never seems to win individual awards, which is very strange.
Hope he stays with us for the rest of his career.

The greatest compliment is to say he just makes the game look ridiculously easy at times and always seems to have time on the ball.

Another world class City player that will never get the recognition he deserves from pundits/media alike.

12 goals this season btw in the league I think.
