Today's game was a snapshot of life after Silva, didn't like it..
Not true at all. We're not going to play almost a 442 with a 32 year old CM as a striker/CAM with our most creative player on the wing, a 2nd choice striker leading the line & 2 defensive midfielders & set up with a mentality of "lets not lose" when Silva leaves.

This game was an exception & necessity due to injuries/tactics. Even with our current squad if it was just Silva missing a front 6 of Aguero Navas KdB Sterling Yaya Fernandinho would be good enough to win the vast majority if not every game in PL on paper. On top of that we'll obviously bring in replacements when that sad day happens..

Don't get me wrong Silva's our best player by a distance & when he leaves we will be weaker team, but to say today was anything other than a complete oddity in how we played the match & set up is just not true.

Anyone heard anything about when Silva is back. Apparently Pellers said today only that he was still out for tomorrow but, very disappointingly, gave no further info. or indication of when he would be back. I'm assuming he must be very close to a return.

bluwhit said for Norwich (Saturday)

I imagine we'll see a half hour cameo from him against Norwich, with a view to him starting against Sevilla.
