I think the East Sand will bear his name in the next decade or so.Fucking love that guy, feel privileged to have watched him in his peak years. An absolute giant of the club, hope they name a stand after him in 10 years.

I think the East Sand will bear his name in the next decade or so.
I've previously posted about this, but it bears repeating: like Colin, it's not just his contributions on the pitch, but his conduct off it that makes him such a credit to City. We are hugely privileged to have such a level headed, well rounded individual at the club. He's moved his working life to somewhere that is culturally alien to him and simply got in with the job, and excelled at it. As you say, he's given us his peak years and without any discernible mither either. We should be very grateful for what he's given the club and what he's enabled it to become through in no small part to his efforts and commitment to it.I really hope so. My nephew who is 11 always asks me about Colin Bell because of the stand, and hopefully one day his kids will ask him about David Silva because of the stand. There couldn't be a more fitting recipient. (other than maybe Shiekh Mansour)
