Hardly a mention about Silva's return and certainly no footage of our welcome for him on MOTD or Match Choice. If it had been Sturridge, or some rag returning, they'd be jerking off all over the place.

We're lucky that David is a pretty humble chap. He deserves far more praise from the media than he gets, but he'll never get it whilst he plays for City. If he was at the swamp he'd have at least a couple of POTY awards to his name. Can you imagine a self obsessed **** like the tranny putting up with that.

I watch our matches on my computer here in NZ - I don't who provides the coverage in the UK but whenever David plays the commentators always have good things to say about David. On today's coverage one of them stated David is one of the best players to ever play in the Premier League.

It really was a tremendous reception for Silva...the OLE chant and clapping by the crowd was amazing. I can't imagine what the response from the crowd will be like when he plays his last game for us.....hopefully a few years away yet.

Fair play to him. He gets praised here, but the media don't make a fuss about him like they would if he played for one of their darlings.

Ovation for him was amazing reminiscent of when Aguero came on for his debut vs Swansea.
Quite funny when Brian Kidd called Fernando over instead of silva (north stand where I am thought silva was being called so cheered) only to see Fernando so we booed tongue in cheek haha ;-)
