There are no superlatives that could sum David Silva up! I honestly don't think he gets the recognition he deserves, up there with the very best in the world, only thing that stops him from being recognised is his lack of goals but with the technical ability and creativity he possesses goals don't really matter!

Some nugget on a David Siva thread from last season actually believed that Silva didn't take charge of games and went missing when the going gets tough.

I wish I could remember their user-name. I'd love to drop him a copy of Spanish Dave's highlights from tonight. Simply masterful.

Without doubt in the top 3 of players to either have pulled him a City shirt, for me anyway.

Yeah even on sadcafe most of the posters absolutely think he's fantastic which is quite amazing considering he plays for us. There is a poster though who thinks he's too slow too inconsistent and would rather have Wilshire
