There was a moment when he plucked the ball out of the air with instant control which drew a gasp and a round of applause from the whole stadium.

I can't talk about Bell, Trautmann, Doherty, Meredith, etc....but definitely the best City player I have seen in a City shirt (a level above YaYa and Sergio).

He never looks like he will lose the ball, the way he manipulates the ball beautifully in tight spaces, his control, the weight of his passes. He ran the game last night.
