Long time lurker here. Just want to state the obvious and say what an extraordinary player he is. Last season he was fantastic in the formation we played but with the way we are playing this year has seemed to take him to another level if that's even possible. He now has the freedom to play wherever he pleases and that looks to be a very scary thing for everyone else in the league. By far the best player in the prem.

And as much as he has benefited from a Summer off, I feel Sterling's presence in the side has opened up the field for Merlin to weave his magic, especially when Jesús is doing the same thing on the other wing.

Teams don't know whether to cover the wingers or Silva and it's paying dividends for us.

He was unlucky with his shot in the first half, but it seems he is more prepared to shoot, which can only be a good thing. If we continue to play in this way, David will still get his fair share of goals, as well as providing plenty of ammunition for others.
 
does anyone has the gif or clip where he gets by three or four player before the 2nd goal.
 
If he stays fit then I think this is going to be his season where people finally wake up and realise he deserves to be mentioned alongside the Messi's and Ronaldo's of the world. I just hope we sort ourselves out in Europe a player of his class deserves to lift the CL at least once.
