Our transfers were fine, it's the injuries that are killing us. You can't expect to play as well as the start of the season when 6 out of your first choice 11 are injured.

Said for many seasons now that Silva is our best player, best attacking midfielder in the world & any team would miss him. Hoping he's back before long as our season is starting to derail with this amount of injuries to such key players.

A very very serious post. De Bruyne is a completely different type of player to Silva. Isco would have been ideal but we need to find or buy a creative midfielder to compensate for Silva. De Bruyne provides assists a few goals but does not have the creativity of Silva. Did we miss that today!!!!!
 
I reckon we'll have to attempt to change the way we play slightly when he does leave. He's the leader of the orchestra and we won't be able to replace him with anyone as good.

A few goals?? Is this the same De Bruyne with what 27 (or 28?) assists last season? He has creativity in abundance.

He has been fantastic when played in the number 10 role where Silva operates best, today he was on the RW so naturally it's harder to dictate the game and be as creative but he still played well.

For me no one in football is as creative as Silva, we have a fantastic back up now in KdB but no matter who we put there we won't recreate what Silva can do, Isco included.
 
Good news. Barring any set-back tomorrow in training my amigo should be Germany bound.

YESSSSS! I've missed him on the pitch. He draws defenders just by being on the field, creating space, something we've been missing along with his vision and passing.
Personally, I think Sergio and Sterling have missed what he brings and I can't wait to see all + KDB playing together.
