He's been instrumental in it. But he's not small time and wouldn't state it, he just produces it on the pitch on match days.

I think it came from the article below in the Telegraph. If you scroll down to the bottom and read the comments section, apparently the headline writer tried to do a hatchet job on Silva. Originally the headline said United are now in City's shadow, but Silva never said anything of the sort. I assume someone had a word with them and they've changed it.

Edit: If you read the URL it seems the original title was something along the lines of "United's Glory day are over now they are in Manchester City's shadow". Silva never said anything of the sort in the article though. Absolute joke what these journo's do for clicks nowadays.
