You lot are pathetic.

Mangala has in no way been our worst player. Ok, he's struggled at times and is taking his time to settle in, but what about Sagna? Demi? Kolarov? Fernandinho? All were fucking terrible tonight. Kompany? he's been poor this season, Clichy even worse. Fernando? Yaya? poor also.

Nastasic last season was far worse than this; he was slow, clumsy, poor in possession, out of position half the time and made individual errors that cost us dearly, all with a year of PL experience behind him. Mangala has been better in a team that is far worse defensively.

Nastasic is currently only 21 years old. Nastasic played extremely well for a full season under Mancini. Nastasic didn't cost £32m. Nastasic had a few bad games at the start of last season, none as bad as Mangala's horror show at Hull.

Personally I think in 4 months he will he good but my god he's making our shit situation a lot worse.

And yeah, all of those players you listed have been bad as well but this is THE MANGALA THREAD therefore it's logical he will be discussed and scrutinised in here.

I get that Nastasic is younger, but he only looked good in a Mancini side. Lescott and Clichy were fantastic under Mancini. His side are based on a solid defence, similar to Mourinho. The back 4 were never as exposed as they are currently. And when Nastasic was put in a Pellegrini side he looked more out of his depth than Mangala does now. And as for a game as bad as Mangala at Hull: Chelsea away; he got skinned for the first goal, gifted them the second and could have been sent off during the game.

And yes this is the Mangala thread, but why is his thread right at the top of the forum? why is poster after poster coming on this thread to call him shit, yet there isn't a Sagna thread in site? or Fernandinho?

Right now, he has no chance at being the next Bobby Moore, Franco Baresi, etc etc etc....

HE is, in my household, officially GASH.

He is fecking shocking, and considering we let Garcia go and replaced him with Humpty fecking Dumpty I will never know.

We cannot continue to play with 9 men and expect to win. Mangala and Toure on the bench this Sunday for me.

I agree! The worst player these last two games has been Edin Dzeko, absolutely fucking awful!

He was shit and looks awfully similar to Lescott when having a ball but I still won't say he won't come good though.

He is young new player, team is in awful state and under the pressure, defence as whole is utter crap and it's not easy to gel in with such conditions.

Nastasic isn't half the player or athlete Mangala is,he is superior in every attribute.

Oh,and he has bottle in spades,something Nastasic severely lacks.

Fucking hell, you know someone is becoming a scapegoat if people blame him for that goal. Shit from Fernandinho, Mangala covers for him well, stays on his feet, forces the man out wide and leaves the rapid winger has no choice but to shoot from a very narrow angle, only for Willy to let the weak shot go straight through him. Fuck all wrong with what Mangala did.
