Him and Otamendi are both out of their depth. Mangala is an absolute liability and seeing Otamendi diving in and rolling around on floor is just as bad. Would rather stick a couple of youngsters in that these 2 buffoons.

I don't watch much foreign football. Only the Champions League really. I don't know how people have the time for it! But from what I remember at the time, the general consensus was that he was "raw", had "good physical attributes", but was "prone to errors".

Got what we paid for then - Doesn't seem to be responding to the coaching he's supposed to be getting.

Unfortunately, he is still the same. move him on in January and try to get an experienced replacement.

How well does Mangala speak Portugese?* How good is his and Otamendi's English? Because the communication between them seems entirely to just be pointing at things.


*I assume Otamendi's Portugese is good due to being Spanish speaking anyway.

Should nowhere near the first team atm he makes the rest of the team nervous! Otamendj is class and can't believe people are slagging him!

That goal last night was horrendous and it cost us at least a point. You cannot make errors like that at this level. He isn't good enough Karen and the fact that we were quite happy to let him go out on loan tells you everything you need to know about how the powers that be view him. The real error was in thinking that Demichellis would still be good enough and once we realised he wasn't, we were left with someone we were prepared to loan out as a first choice CB because we have no alternative. It has got that bad now that I would be tempted to play someone out of position as CB because neither he nor Demichellis can be trusted.

Stick him in the rags back four and he would look a much better player.

We play high risk football under the current manager and through lack of cover the two centre halves are exposed time after time and, in my opinion, are made to look much clumsier footballers than they actually are.

This goes for Otamendi as well. My mates wife is from Valencia and all her family fucking rave about Otamendi and say he was a complete beast for them.

Manuel has a fantastic knack of taking perfectly capable footballers and turning them into complete clowns.

Give a proper manager this squad and we'd walk the league this season and that is a fact!

I take your points but i want to see how the defence play under pep before getting rid of anyone,having said that i think trying to send him on loan tells a story of what mp thinks but i don't really trust him anymore now as he is making too many of the players look like shit.I can't wait for a pair of fresh eyes on the team
