He just does the basics wrong which is still worrying two years on of being here.

Hence the reason why I think he won't come good. I don't think that can be coached by the age of 24. I can't see Pep (if we get him) accepting this level of sloppiness so he won't be in the side to come good. We will see. Obviously some people will think differently but to me he is an accident waiting to happen almost every game and will cost us points that we can I'll afford to lose.

So people keep saying. I don't think he will. How many times does he mistime his jump and the ball lands over his head. I don't think Otamendi is fantastic either.

The defence ends sorting because it isn't good enough, the first 25 minutes were an absolute shambles.

That's made me laugh, it's very true and something that can't go on. Like you say, the entire defence needs sorting, it's not an individual thing. If you're a defender in our current team you're going to look shit. they're not all suddenly crap defenders there's just clearly no organisation from the management. I wouldn't be surprised to learn we have no defensive coach and it's just left for Kompany to organise. I suppose we won't find out if he'll come good until we get at least a competent manager in.
