Really? I mean, genuinely one of the worst in 30 years?

Plenty are worse, we've had some shit defenders at our club

Runs like a cart horse defends like a weeble wobble a liability and one of the worst defenders I've seen at city for 30 years. Need to cut our losses and sell or loan him out of our club.

He has problems, granted, but to cut our loses would be silly, he is young and just like some of our other young players he makes mistakes, and that's how you learn in the long run anyway from those mistakes, I genuinely feel we have seen him play really well a few times this season, against good attackers too, so I really don't think he's a lost cause

All about opinions but in my view this is OTT. Definitely not the worst and if he could eradicate the errors he still has the makings of a really good centre back for me. I am perhaps well above average in terms of patience and understanding though

When Mangala has a bad game he gets huge levels of attention from many on here and the media. When he has a great game, and he's had several, he gets very little attention whatsoever. He had a very vulnerable look yesterday but was there a player on the pitch who had a decent game, Fern apart?

Like I said he's been here and played enough games to be Judged bit over the top with the worst defender he's One of the worse defenders I've seen and up there with Kernaghan who also ran like a cart horse.

Knee jerk??? Yesterday was his 50th premier league game yet at times looked like his first game in professional football

Have to admit I haven't seen much improvement in manga to say he will ever be a top defender. Makes lescott look composed and that's saying something!!

Haters gonna hate I guess. I for one think he's been fine recently, the press are just making shit up and some of you gullible lot are lapping it up.

He reads the game badly which affects his positioning so he's nearly always under pressure and in trouble, which in turn panics him in to some awful passes/clearances. Someone on here said his distribution was quite good!!!!!!! Let me clear that up, it's shocking. He does need to improve but MP needs to coach the lad correctly. I don't think defensive coaching is on the curriculum at city anymore. Under Mancini this lad would be improving game by game. If pep does come I think he will flourish. Don't write him off yet.
