Pellegrini said Mangala was sick this morning so couldn't play.

We could have done with his experience today actually, would have been good to see a partnership with Mangala and Denayer too.

Big season ahead for him next. Hope he starts from where he left off last season. Hopefully the back 4 won't keep on getting rotated aswell so he'll solidify even further.

Kompany staying fit and regaining his form is equally as important. He was very average last season. Mangala needs to carry on from where he left off and cut out the once a game clumsiness from his game.
