Probably the strongest player in the league, he flattens people like they are children and people just bounce off him. Wins an awful lot of headers as well. If he can calm down his slightly wild clearances then he'll be unstoppable for years to come.

I agree. He did OK. I'll even go further, he was solid. But I still think he is suspect; against better quality teams, he is still a weakness. I'm just not convinced. But again, he was solid today so today is not the day to criticize. Good day for City today!

Again lets just see how the lad grows into this team, ok performance tonight. He did sometimes hoof the ball and did sometimes give the ball away sloppy. But a big improvement on what we have seen before. This guy with a bit more confidence will become a serious player. Demichelis when he came in looked awesome.

Mangala was a 7/10 today for me.
