Lampard left us not knowing his future, and therefore never had the chance to say goodbye. He has stated he regrets this many times. Hence the excessive acknowledgement of our fans yesterday.

I respect Lampard, but hope this isnt true. A new midfielder/Zucilini recall is needed in January.

I hope he does stay. He's already shown his worth to us and with Yaya at ACON duty from Jan, card-happy refs, fixture pile-ups and inevitable injuries we'll definitely need him.

I, on the contrary, hope it is true. Lamps is still a very good player, reads the game like not many others will ever do. I hope he gets to play tomorrow to gain even more match sharpness.
