But Navas and Sterling provides the same thing, except Sterling is younger and have a better overall end-product. Not room enough for both if we are getting De Bruyne too, and keep Nasri.

Don't agree. I think we need at the very least 2 pacy wingers in the squad, It's something we've badly lacked the last few years. It's too easy to mark one winger out of the game, at times we need to have the options to go with pace down either flank.

I think Navas is sorely underrated on here. He gets a huge amount of undeserved stick. Yes he can be frustrating, but he works hard, puts in some dangerous balls and is always willing to track back and help out in defence. He is a great asset to the squad.

I agree partly. He is hard working & tracks back but for the pace he has he doesn't beat defenders enough to get goal side. His final ball is not good enough also.

Surely that's a wasted squad spot then wouldn't a player fighting for a place in the side be a better option

I agree partly. He is hard working & tracks back but for the pace he has he doesn't beat defenders enough to get goal side. His final ball is not good enough also.

I agree it can be very frustrating when he turns around and passes back, but it means we keep possession. However, he beat his man enough to provide the third highest number of assists for us last season.

Would make sense with the club aiming get two attacking wide men. So you would have Sterling, De bruyne, Silva, Nasri, Lopes and also Toure if played further forward fighting for three positions.
