He was superb tonight. It's strange whenever we play the top teams in Europe they manage to get the best out of him. He can be a bit of an enigma at times, also not a fan of the whole put Forster in net for England thing. Forster is a good keeper however hart in my opinion has always been solid for England and never really had a bad game even when he went through some really bad form for us. I think everyone should focus on the major points for England which is we have a squad full of average players and not enough word-class talent. Anyway hart deserved alot of credit for tonight's performance

Over the past 9-18 months I have read some crap as to why Big Joe is not good enough for our team. Really ?? Not for the first time,Joe has proven himself to be probably the best goalkeeper in the PL,but once again one of the best in Europe.
I accept that he has dropped the odd bollock in the PL but look at his performances in the CL.

Since joe was "rested" , he has been exemplary , didnt sulk , got on with the job , got his place back , deserves a lot of credit .Maybe our captain and leader could benefit form a "rest" , it might get him back to being the best defender in europe again
