On paper, ignoring all the integration business and excluding Neuer?

Courtois.

De Gea.

Cech.

Buffon.

Lloris.

Keylor Navas.

Probably a couple more, but those are the obvious ones, and I don't want to get into a half hour debate about the merits of a couple in which there isn't much in it.

Honestly don't think there's much between Joe and someone like Begovic.
Haha!
Let me get this straight!
You'd replace Joe Hart with anyone on your list bearing in mind age, experience and ability?

We're playing fantasy football here. Those are all players I rate higher than Joe, in the real world I wouldn't replace Joe with a 200 hundred year old Buffon who's about to retire, no.

Haha! Ok bud.
We're not going to agree here. I won't labour this so I'll bid you good night and hope you enjoy the remainder of your evening.

Loris??? .... Realy ?? ;-)

Should have done better for the first. It was struck well but at a nice height and to the side where Hart was more or less positioned. The second was poor all round.
I'm sure he'll be more disappointed than anyone how his run of clean sheets ended.

Nice height? It was on the floor!

It isn't Hart's fault that the fanboys' new favourites Mangala and Kolarov between them allowed Moses time and space to pick out a perfect shot.

Joe Hart is the England number one. He plays for one of the best teams in Europe. He's not some Sunday league keeper. A shot hit from 25 yards to the side that he's covering is one I'd expect him to get down to.
Of course there's blame to be laid at the door of the defence for allowing the shot in the first place but this is a Joe Hart thread.

You can't get beaten at your near post from that far out, especially as he saw it all the way, he will be the first to admit that as he's an honest guy. It was poor positioning to not be able to reach the shot. It's the sort of shot that Hart would save 9 times out of 10 without even thinking twice. Keepers make mistakes though, it's hardly a clanger, but he'll be hugely dissapointed that that was the first goal he's conceded in the league this season.

Joe is a fair critic of his own performances, he won't be happy with how he played yesterday. Their second goal was sloppy from an all round team perspective, those goals can happen to any team though. The first was definitely preventable, Moses shouldn't have been allowed to run through under no pressure especially when he likes to strike a ball from distance - for a keeper of Joe's ability he should've at least got a hand to it and pushed it round the post.

One thing's for sure though, Joe is a fantastic goalkeeper and we need to stay behind him. When his confidence and concentration are at their highest, there is nobody better in the Premier League it's as simple as that. Both Captain and Ambassador for our club in years to come, and he deserves that. Chin up Joe, got all the confidence in you for Spurs next week.

If defenders never made mistakes a keeper would have little to do, regardless of Mangala's error Joe could have done better with that first goal today.

Not sure if already mentioned but beaten on his left side again, definitely his weak spot. Did make up for it though with a couple of great saves.
