He doesn't pick kelechi due to the price tag of bony and the fallout if he had a bad game, a lack of bottle and towing the line, good managers make those decisions, bony and ya ya are the reasons why pellegrini prefers not to rock the boat, a very safe manager devoid of risk taking

Very much a company man

Pep will have no hesitancy in replacing Bony

So do I. Everton at home on wednesday. Will it happen will it bollocks.

He will only start against Everton if we stick with two strikers which seems unlikely. He was very good yesterday, but Aguero's movement was a joy to watch, constantly taking players away from him. He doesn't look to me as if he his quite ready to play as a single striker in big games.

Should have been second striker all season, he'd have been moved down the order pretty quickly if he put in Bony style performances.

He's constantly a better option on the pitch than Bony. It seems like playing Bony is an attempt to justify value for money on his price tag.

We've got a CFA and need to start showing confidence in young players with Nacho and Daynaer we have two who we could showcase, one has been shipped out to Turkey and one is third choice (looking like last choice) in Pelli's mind.

This. One made his debut today.....twelve months later than he should have had.

Its all speculative isn't it. What would have happened if he had made his debut 12 months ago and failed miserably. I know you probably won't agree, but lets leave the timings of introductions to those who are handsomely paid to make those calls

He's a very good prospect. But comparing Kelechi, playing as a second striker, with Bony, who has mostly played as a sole striker, seems unfair on Bony.

Mate having to watch Bony lumber about from SS3 is unfair on my eyes and blood pressure.

If Nacho isn't upto it then fair enough, he may need taking out and re-introducing when older etc but don't tell me Bony's contribution to the team is keeping him out.

He's the type of player who fans love. He's young, energetic, hard working, skilful, pacey, has an eye for a pass, knows where the goal is, he's tall so can compete in the air, is humble but has that cocky edge which all top tier footballers need... the more I go on, the more I think he can genuinely offer the full package. He's the exact partner Aguero needs. We've hit the jackpot.

Hugely effective yesterday and involved in all 3 goals. Quite rightly people are upbeat about his goal, but for me what stood out was his movement off the ball that created the space for Aguero to score. He moved along the line dragging his defender away and all Aguero had to do was run into that space and finish.
Also the coolness of his finish when under a ton of pressure. Well excited about this lad, his touch, finishing, vision, movement, work rate, teamwork, composure and pace. He has it all.

One negative. Didn't like how he was played out of position cos we've already been told he isn't a striker.......haven't we Manuel
"All Aguero had to do was run into that space and finish "???!!! FFS

I think the comparisons between Kelechi and Bony are a bit harsh.

I agree we should be using the young lad more and Bony hasn't shone for us but Bony's been given a harder role, often as a lone striker in a team which doesn't play to his strengths. It's easier to be a second forward or fresh legs than it is to lead the line.

There's no reason why Bony and Ihenacho can't both play plenty of games along with Aguero fitness permitting. It doesn't have to be a straight choice of one or the other. Have they started any games together?

Kid is quality. There is no doubt. He has the ability and the self confidence to be a star. Pelle's keeping him hungry but the guy deserves more minutes with the way he seems to produce.
