Toure was just a slow crap version of Kelechi imo & needs the rest for next week.

But we won so I don't want to give my feelings about it all.
Even if you are right in your assessment of Toure ( which I disagree with) you have to admit our control of the game in the 2nd half coincided with the substitution. Whether that was coincidence or in fact cause and effect, I'd say it's really hard to argue with the results of the substitution. That said, Kelechi was refreshing and had a good game.

Wasn't a coincidence but the reason the manager rightly brought him on, imo.

played and linked brilliant today, passing and control far better than lets just say a more experienced expensive player... Almost like a great signing for us ! Lets see more of him starting with sergio.

was class today and was unlucky not to get on the c]score sheet when he chested it down in the box but then couldn't connect with the end ball....did himself proud, and shows all the signs pf becoming a great player

Sadly I still get the feeling Pellegrini isn't a huge fan, hence taking him off at the earliest opportunity (as was the case v Norwich at home) and getting only 3 minutes in a lot of games.

I'm looking forward to next season when he's taking seriously as a first team player and not a fringe player.

I really believe he's a much better option and fit for this team than Bony, with his pace, movement, workrate, agility and neat linkup. He's quite handy in the air too.

pelligrini is managing the kid just fine, and his sub was the right call at the right time

In his post match interview Pellers said he had to bring Yaya on for Kelechi cos when we lost Kolarov we were short of height when defending. I assume he meant free kicks and corners.

Strange given his 'attack attack attack' philosophy - I'd have liked to see another 10/15 minutes of Iheanacho as he hadn't settled into the 2nd half yet.

Think he played well and not too fussed about him coming off - Toure coming in and playing some good through balls in from a deeper position created more chances for us than we'd had previously in the game. My only qualm would be that Aguero could have come off earlier as Palace weren't threatening at all (leaving Kelechi on to lead the line) but it's very easy for me to say that with nothing riding on it.
