watched him in pre season in America last yr and thought he could be something special then,a long way to go yet but very promising to be a top player

We have a bit of a gem here, lets hope he gets plenty of game time, he'll only improve with each match.
That was a proper strikers goal, and he could have had a second too, strikers need to be in the right position for those, and so often they're not, its instinct, and twice in 5 minutes today he was, good luck lad.

Initial impressions on the tour in 2014 and from the media snippets were that he was very much in the Sturridge mould, style and personality-wise.
Well I'm pleasantly surprised about his personality, he seems really quite humble from the interviews he has given these last few months - far from the prima donna I was fearful of - and seems very grateful for any minutes and first team inclusions that come his way. Well done kid.

I know; normally it's Yorke.
Higginbotham has been a veritable breath of fresh air and someone I have quite enjoyed listening to. Ex rag too, isn't he?
