He won't be getting any CL minutes this calender year, as he's not in the squad.

Is he not eligible for the B list?

*edit* just saw that he hasn't been registered for two years yet.

Hopefully Aguero stays fit consistently.

If other players would stop booting him in the knee I'm sure he would. His recurring injuries were two seasons ago and were soft tissue related, his changed diet has put all of that behind him.

I'm really interested in precisely what aspects of his diet he's changed (I'm doing a PhD in football physiology and nutrition).

I would probably hazard a guess and say an adjusted training regimen has been the main reason for the reduced number of injuries.

Nutrition does play a big part of course but there's not much scientific evidence on overall diet, just what players should consume in recovery from matches.

He's ditched the cow pie.

IIRC he went to Messi's dietician. Might be worth googling that.

Well this kid looks the business - remember thinking that last pre-season when he bagged against Liverpool.
Anyway, the kid's gonna need a song so here's my terrible effort....

To the tune of Proclaimers 500 miles one:

We can spend 500 million,
And we could spend 500 more,
But Pat Vieira's building us,
A team you've never seen before,
IHEANACHO (Iheanacho), IHEANACHO (Iheanacho)
Iheanch, Iheanach, Iheanach, Iheanach -a -o!!!!!
