Would it be that much of a gamble to start him on saturday? I think most of us on here think he has the potential to go a long way in the game. But we'll never know if he will or not until he's (gently) eased into the first team. Norwich would seem to be the ideal opponents to give him a starting spot.

He was getting rave reviews on sky sports a little while ago.

Yeah Matt Murray full of praise for him, said he had something special and if he doesn't get enough game time for us then plenty of premier league sides would take him on loan in January.

If he starts, he either needs Bony up front with him or De Bruyne in the hole behind him, would be too much to ask him to do everything up front on his own.

Iheanacho suddenly looks a better prospect than Martial......who was poor tonight.....as for Rooney.....City fans don't need to say anything....the vitriol aimed at him from the rags tonight cannot be topped.

He should start, but I don't envisage Pellegrini suddenly playing youngsters in the Premier League. He doesn't, really. Not from the start.

He's not a lone striker though, so if he did miraculously start, I think we'd have to play Bony too like tonight. But I'd be fine with that, especially considering Sterling has a tight hamstring.

Can't say that just yet, we need Iheanacho to have more starts IMO. But Nacho is class

No matter what, he has to start and that is the perfect match for him to start. You can already see KDB loves playing alongside and that's the mark of a special player!

Delighted he made his mark tonight. Been saying amongst my mates he just needs 90 minutes to show he's more than capable of being a regular this season. He suits our style perfectly and can perform in a number of roles. Unfortunately for him, I think Bony did well tonight too and i thought he did relatively well in the Derby despite little service so i don't expect him to be dropped against Norwich. although saying that, he'll be playing against Sevilla so maybe if Pellegrini is thinking ahead it's the perfect chance to start Kelechi. I'd personally like to see the same front 4 against Norwich and leave Sterling on the bench. Saturdays lineup will be interesting and if Kelechi isn't in it he can consider himself very very unlucky.
