Struggled to watch it on a poor stream last night but one thing I saw is him chase the ball from the half way line right to their keeper.
Energy, passion, desire. The kind that kin and Tevez had.

I liked it. Thought his assist was brilliant.

He's just so exciting for one so young.... He'll become the benchmark for what we're trying to sell with regards to the academy. I get the feeling that he knows he's going to be world class, I love this about him..

I spoke to one of the coaches after he'd signed who said categorically, he was the best 17 year old he'd ever seen. Is it ok to get excited by him? Absolutely, is manuel managing him correctly? 100%...

Totally agree mate, he's got the confidence to go along with the ability and physique, he's got everything.

I heard the same that a few of the players have said he is the best teenager they have ever seen. This is coming from guys who have played with some of the best players of their generation.

The thing that impresses me most is his movement and his appreciation of space. They are things that can perhaps be coached to a certain level, but the very best players have a natural aptitude for it. Kelechi certainly has that natural ability from what I've seen.

Spot on, it's that instant knowledge of where your team mates are and what you're going to do with the ball. He can take a touch and turn on it, he can instantly pass to feet or space and he can control and pass at speed. Some of our play last night was outstanding. De Bruyne's goal was an example of clever, precise interplay where Nacho didn't stop, he kept moving and into space, picked up the ball and showed so much composure. If Navas could learn to do that, when in the same position then he'd be a million miles better.

Composure is something that can't be taught easily and some players just have it, this kid is one of them. He's got the confidence to take on a shot but more importantly he works so hard for the team and clearly has the talent to gel with other great players. A fantastic performance from him. The breakaway where De Bruyne was played in by Bony was also excellent passing and movement.

It's a crying shame we don't have him available for the CL, I know he won't always play this well and consistency will take time but my god he has the talent to become an incredible player. He's got similar natural instincts to Aguero. We could do with that in the CL!

are we allowed to put him in the champs league should be get through to the knockout rounds ?

As i understand it, and I'm happy to be proved wrong, there is nothing to stop us naming him in Champs league squad when we get to change it after jan transfer window.

However due to age / time spent with club, he would take up a foreign spot so someone else would lose their place.

that could be a bony of contention
