Did people actually watch him today? He didn't score but his performance was a lot better than just okay. Delph and Fernando were the only ones better than him today. His movement was extremely good, always offered himself and protects the ball superbly. The formation with Silva and KDB narrow meant it was fairly hard for him and Sergio to link up with anyone particularly well, needed a Navas/Sterling on the pitch to get the most out of the front two but everything he did he did very well and in my eyes shown he should be getting far more game time and starts than he's currently getting.[/QUOTE
Isnt he just, lot of people round me chuffed to bits he started an he was great. Really glad pellegrini listened to what people were telling him.Great young player
I think that's normal for a young player being groomed.Bizarre that at 2-0 up and cruising, he gets hauled off. Should have got 90 mins IMO
About right. A top prospect. Even more so with Sterling. Both need nurturing.Played well in the first-half, but there were a couple of occasions at the start of the second when he failed to keep possession when the ball was played up to him. That's happened before, and as soon as Pellegrini sees that his time is up.
That's a nice compliment .Reminds me of Dennis Tueart
