I think it's sufficient to say that he seems to be in a class with Silva and Aguero. They're all asked to do different things so comparing them is very difficult. It's enough of a compliment to KDB to say he's in that stratosphere and credit to him because he's really shown that he has it all. He's easily our best signing in years. So two footed with quite a shot on him, we've been crying out for this kind of player for a while. He's really taken to the team and his directness has helped us quite a bit.

I'm sure KDB finds Kun and David better players than himself

Haha. No.

You know what I think. I think that Kev is not thinking about wether he is better or not than them. I think he is just glad he has such world class players to play with and hopes they get fit soon so he can combine with them and win titles.

kev is class and could potentially win the balon d'or but To even suggest he's more important than Silva after a handleful of games its fucking ridiculous. People seem to forget that Silva's biggest contribution to the team isn't his assists or flair etc.. Its his ability to control the game. He is the most important player by far.

The discussion at this point over who is better can be looked at from different lenses, but if i may maybe as a Belgian in can temper feelings somewhat and give some strenght to the argument that it's both relativly early to have a discussion on that and even more importantly somewhat unnessecary/unfair.

Now i love our Kev like any Belgian rightfully would, he has been delightfull for us even more so than Hazard, and logicly i have been following him for years. I'm happy he moved to city, the media handling and fan discussion you have in the UK is much more interresting than the one you have in the bundesliga. German sports forums are ze sheisse, i hardly speak any German and the Germans lack ... drama. The Pl is far more passionate or Germans too bloody cool. They are like, "Ja Kevin is zehr gut ja". Ok...
So yeah i love these forums for the sheer amount of hubris to be frank, i kinda revel in inane discussions like the one i'm kinda engaging in here now.

But Granted Manchester city is a lovely team too, deffinatly hard to beat in football manager. And i agreed that Kev was about to fit in quite nicely into this team, lets not overlook the idea that Kevin was indeed a very good fit into the teams playstyle. And yes he's good, what would you expect a Belgian fan with more shallow loyalty's to city would say? But somewhat cooler heads regarding this, especially for city loyalists in relation to club and past merrits of Silva, would logicly argue that Kev is fairly new and although very prommising towards the future and sensational yet has to do some more milage and it aint going to be all sunny days nessecarily. Mind you, i think he's world class, will be huge for you guys in years to come and will improve along the way. More important however i think he actually found a good home, a place where he can play mainly to his quality's and has other great players around him to create excitement. Really i'm more interrested in seeing how golden a trio Aguerro/Silva/De Bruyne can be. It's nice to see some great partnerships being made for players you love.

Utterly pointless discussion. Is KDB talented? Yes, extremely and so are Silva and Aguero. Some people seem to miss the point: it's because they are all such intelligent players that they allow each other to shine. KDB can give a worldclass assist, if noone anticipates on him giving it, it's just a wasted cross.

So players complementing each other makes for worldclass actions, the better the players read each other, the more they will click.
Imagine how they'll combine in a couple of months when they've played more games together.

There's nothing 'spot on' about it.
Siva's health is normally determined as to wherever he's had lumps kicked out of him or not and Aguero is one of the best strikers in world football. He's not here to be a playmaker.
I'm as buzzing as the next man about KDB but it's all getting a bit ridiculous on here.

A whole 9 games eh? Glad you've not been to quick to write off Silvas importance to the team. Giving it 9 games has shown you've put plenty of consideration into it.
Amazingly you're not the only one to suggest it but then I suppose everything goes on this forum.

Absolute madness to mention KDB in the same breath as David Silva just yet. He's not played well for a full 90 minutes for us yet!! He plays in fits and starts, goes missing for huge periods of games.

I can only assume those that are saying he is better than Silva are Match of The Day fans who only watch highlights of his brilliant goals and first time balls. He's very direct and has played some great through balls, but his general link up play has actually not been that great.

Soon "VS" thread will mushroom on this forum.KDB vs Kun,KDB vs Silva ,KDB vs Jo ...etc etc
WTF?
Kun and Silva are proven world class players and KDB is right on the same path .
Sit back and enjoy...bitches !!
;)

Our kev has certainly settled in well hasn't he?
Cannot be mentioned in the Merlin bracket yet though but he has certainly started on the right road! Pissed off we haven't seen kun, merlin, Raheem and Kevin start a good run together as they WILL cause severe havoc to the opposition!

I second that. Is said here a while ago KDB is only playing for 80% of his potential.
He goes missing for periods of time and is sloppy in defending and "short passes".
He "will" become an important player but he still has a long way to go.
He sucked bigtime at Sevilla :-).
Let's be patient and give him the time he needs. When Silva and Kun are back they will win the champions league :-)
