Player Topic: Kevin De Bruyne (2015/16)

Hope you guys all keep your emotions under control if he plays a bad game or has a bad spell of games. KDB is world class and he started his City career in great fashion, but he may not keep his current numbers (goals and assists) throughout the whole season. He'll keep taking risks, trying killer balls and longshots, but maybe there will be a period with a bit of bad luck. To be fair, he didn't play his best game against Seville up to his last minute winner.

Love how you guys love KDB and he's a real special talent, but it's a bit too soon to put him up there with City's greatest players ever.

After the opening two games, I liked how the team was layed out with the pace of Sterling, Navas and then Silva controlling. Nasri to come in when needed. DIdn't think De Bruyne was better than any we had. Certainly not worth 50 million. As I said I was very very wrong and very happy to be so. The guy has pace, touch and vision, fast becoming my favourite players

He's everything you've mentioned but the best thing for me is his team ethic. He seems to be very selfless in his play and very understated and humble in his attitude.
I also enjoy his languid playing style.

What I like/love is he inspires other players. He leads the team from the front with his directness, pressing and quality.

With him in the side it makes it even more apparent that Toure is the cornerstone of this team.

Silva in the number 10 role means we control games.

KDB in the number 10 means that we are more incisive and counter attacking.

In Navas and Sterling we have wingers who can equally play both styles.

And then we have Yaya. On the counter with them barn storming runs like against Sevilla and Spurs and with his ability to pick the right pass, we have a recipe to play numerous styles.

Amazing player he's turning out to be, we've got another game changer like we have in aguero or silva and sterling whos beginning to show his worth more recently.
