Is suffering with both Silva and Nasri being injured but he has a done enough to suggest he will become a big player for us.

Can't believe people are bad-mouthing him. He was one of our better performers and created 6 chances. Bar his miss, he had a great game all-round. If you actually look at the match, most of the lads done pretty well. Sterling was lively, Kolarov was good, Sagna was great, Navas created plenty of chances too.

Bloody hell guys, get a grip!

Is the correct assessment. I don't think anyone is turning against him but let's not pretend he was something that he wasn't. He'll be fine long term no doubt about that.

Maybe that's bcoz he is not being played in his best position. If Silva isn't playing, he should be in No.10 role. Why play the best player out of position?

So when Silva is fit (hopefully for the Liverpool match) won't that mean De Bruyne will still be playing out of position?

I see Edins Bosnian fan club have now been replaced!

For 50m I want someone who can put that in the onion bag, there is no excuse

Afcourse all us Belgians are tottaly skewed and cannot give an honest review withought going wa wa wa Debruyne. Though mind you we rate him bigger than Hazard, logical because hazard is clearly shit with his low performance this year. That BPL award afterall only last a day, next day you just have to score another goal and assist or you want youre millions back. But then of all the shit Belgians in the BPL who do we have to root for? Debruyne is obviously the only one that gets near a bit of productivity.

/sarcasm

I give him a 6.5 for last game, not outstanding but then again i don't know if i would rate many others that higher, afterall none of them scored and won us the game and thats the only thing you want from youre mutimillion squad. Weird though, bar Debuyne this was the same setup that trounced Seville, one would have thought that even withought Debruyne and just 10 these guys would easily overrun Villa. I guess football just aint as simple as that, someone plz explain this to me because i'm confused.

Sevilla came at us which allowed us to pick them off. Villa sat in and restricted space.

He seems to be at his worst when Yaya plays in an advanced role. I think because there isn't much fluidity and movement with Yaya. Also pretty much no forward pressing with Yaya, which you can see him getting frustrated with.

And not to forget that he was played as central forward for the majority of the game.

In the last 2 matches Yaya hasn't really been playing an advanced role, not like how he used to. I would imagine if someone had the average position charts, Fernandinho would have been more advanced than Yaya on average. That's how I saw it. Fernando deeper than the two of them, with Fernandinho slightly higher than Yaya.

I just watched the highlights of the Villa game. Lots of good touches and passes/crosses that with a bit more luck might have been put away. He's set himself such a high bar that people think he's played badly just because he didn't score or provide any assists in a game. If this is his worst then happy days.

Had an absolute shocker today tbh. Not helped by being stuck up front for a bit, but even still he was well below what's required. Terrible miss probably cost us two points (even if there were other good chances as well). He's been fantastic so far though so he's got credit in the bank

I handled Sterling having his header "saved", but Kev let me down badly.
I had a whole £5.15 @ 11/2 on him for 1st goal scorer :(
