Players basically WALKED past him yesterday. Why has he dropped off so much from last season?
He hasnt imo,the signs of deterioration were there last season as well.He has been an excellent servant, more than the stop gap he was signed as......but,now,we really shouldn't be in a position whereby he is part of a starting partnership, his best days, even his decent days......are long behind him.Players basically WALKED past him yesterday. Why has he dropped off so much from last season?
Not good enough now. What is suprising for an experienced defender is how many poor decisions he makes.
I'm with you on those comments. When he does move on, he will do so with head held high and hopefully Denayer will then show us what he's made of.
Martin's done a fantastic job for us and must be a great guy from a manager's viewpoint. I have nothing but admiration for him.
