Players basically WALKED past him yesterday. Why has he dropped off so much from last season?
He hasnt imo,the signs of deterioration were there last season as well.He has been an excellent servant, more than the stop gap he was signed as......but,now,we really shouldn't be in a position whereby he is part of a starting partnership, his best days, even his decent days......are long behind him.

£ for £ he's been a great signing, was a huge part of us winning the league, and also calmed the ship when he was under pressure last season.

He's finished at the top level now. I'd imagine these rumours of him to New York in January are genuine.

He's completely gone now. Can't move very well and struggling with the ball at his feet even when not under pressure. Age has taken a natural toll.

Done well for us overall though despite getting a lot of stick at the start.

Not good enough now. What is suprising for an experienced defender is how many poor decisions he makes.

has been a great piece of business for City, after a wobbly settling in period he has generally shown himself to have a good footballing brain and shown english fans that pace is not everything at the top level :)

sadly against Soton he was poor, numerous occasions he got skinned. granted he's 4th choice at centre half and squad balance dictates he will be worse than 1st & 2nd choice but i think he has had his day. he'll play against Hull though!

Would not risk MDM against Hull , he is way off the pace , bring clichy into the team and play sagna at centre half , MDM has been a good signing , but he is now a liabilty , NYCFC awaits.

When he does move on, he will do so with head held high and hopefully Denayer will then show us what he's made of.

Martin's done a fantastic job for us and must be a great guy from a manager's viewpoint. I have nothing but admiration for him.

I'm with you on those comments.
