Weird scenario in that I thought coming here would take the shackles off him playing with better players and less pressure. To me that would help him raise his game but until today he has been playing within himself. Let's hope today is the kick start for the lad.
He's been at Liverpool, now he's learning how to play football

Eh? The first few game he was excellent he had a couple of poor games, this place can be like Alice in Wonderland sometimes

I don't think it's a coincidence that he seems to have struck up an instant and productive partnership with Bony. I think they were both feeling out of place in our squad and suffering from a lack of confidence and feeling a little overawed at the talent around them. Which in turn made them more likely to play it safe.

Sterling is unplayable through the middle, that speed and intelligence is impossible to defend against.

I think the team for the next few games shaped itself today. Sterling in the middle behind bony with de bruyne left. Let starlings movement cause havoc and the space he finds will be hit by de bruyne
Also like two ferns in the middle.

What a strange comment he has a had a few off games but other than that he has completely change the dynamics of how we play this season and how much better we have been for it.....

Great hat trick today for the lad and well deserved and a smack in the face to the nah sayers and the lad is only gonna get better and better :)

Nice to see young raheem find his level in the prem against relegeation fodder. Waiting for his minor impact against United and Sevilla in the next games.

Lovely movement. It gave us so many passing options. Anyone else think he tends to underhit some of his passes?

I would prefer to see De Bruyne back in the middle for the next two games. Sterling played very far forward yesterday, almost 2nd striker. De Bruyne would play a tad deeper which could be necessary against stronger opponents.
