Fantastic today. Not sure if their defending was poor but he found so much space today, looked a threat all night & composed in front of goal. Him & Dinho were mesmerising.
Sure it's already been said but he was playing with so much confidence tonight, IMO the main thing which has been lacking since he moved to ours. Taking defenders on with pace and trickery, trying killer passes, using his strength well, always looking for an open shot on goal. Keep it up lad.
He was dangerous tonight and looked like he was playing with confidence. He needs to continue to take chances without the fear of what happens if it doesn't come off.
@Neville Kneville I hope that's the Sterling we see more and more of. Unplayable tonight. If I tried REALLY hard for a criticism, his decision making was a little slow on the odd occasion which resulted in us losing possession.
I said last week that he should be dropped from the side to refocus and start doing he basics better. I believe he actually picked up a knock so was dropped from the side for that reason but it seemed the break from the side did him the exact good I thought it would.
Still not great at passing the ball and Coke was fucking shite for them (how was he never pulled up for all those foul throws? everyone was a foul throw!) but Sterling did so much right it was much better to watch.
