Think he was our best player going
forward today. And what made me really happy was that you could see he really wanted to get a goal compared to Yaya for example. He worked his socks off and wasn't scared of running at their defenders. Really pleased with him today and I think he was unfortunate with his header.

So one footed and not clever enough to hide it. Got to do better than a pathetic dive at the end of that golden chance he had on the breakaway running into their box. And that header - he closed his eyes and hoped for the best, it was truly woeful. Got to square your shoulders up and head it back where it came from into the bottom right corner. You tell twelve year olds that.

Other than that shite, he actually had an okay game in general play.

Yet he's still good enough to escape his man most of the time. Even if as a defender you're sure he's coming inside you've still got to stop it and anticipate it. Judging from Sterlings success recently I'd say they're not dealing with it even if it's predictable.

Your bug bear about the penalty is just a rant. He was fouled and it was a penalty.

I'd have liked to see him confident enough to hit it with his left. I've watched it a fair few times though and nothing has convinced me the players contact as Raheem cuts inside doesn't warrant a penalty.
