Always worth repeating that he's only bloody 20.
Though, I suspect while his finishing will improve he will never be clinical
Agree with sentiments in this post. Would add, to achieve his full potential he'll have to be totally unaffected by those that inevitably will lambast him - dealing with failure effectively is synonymous with success.Very young and very talented this lad with a huge future for us but fuck me, his finishing at present is absolutely woeful.
He is not alone in that either!
The most depressing thing about last night and this morning has been reading the comments about Sterling. Whilst every other club up and down the country go out of their way to protect their young players, we are amazing for turning on a player upon the first sign of trouble. Every single comment about him should be prefaced with "he's 20" and yet so many people just seem to talk about his transfer fee as if that's in any way relevant right now.

He's not been great, but still been better than Sterling. At least you can see KDB has the technically ability to change a game with a pass. Last night for example...wasn't his best game but still created all our chances, putting the best chance on a plate for Sterling who couldn't hit a barn door from 4 yards.
What's more depressing is the amount of people using "he's 20" as some sort of defence.
Who cares about his age when he's shite?
Would we have given the same defence and still be using it for Devante Cole had we kept him and played him in almost every game up until now? Or would we have saw him for what he is and called it. The answer is nothing but the latter.
Another thing; what's the option? We keep playing him week in week out despite being absolute dross to the detriment of the team and our results in the hope that we might improve him? Madness.
