Football fans are funny.
I can't think of much else in the world where so many people with so little understanding of the subject matter make so much public noise about it. Politics maybe I suppose.

A football crowd, and all the media exposure of the game, and the rise of the web, gives these ignoramuses a platform for their biased views. You only have to listen to any football phone in to hear people passionately ranting and raving and talking utter, clueless, idiotic shite. Yet they really mean it and think they are right.

The secret footballer In his book is utterly and totally scathing about football fans and I know why.

People lose all sense of objectivity and reason when powerful emotions are involved. It's why divorces are often so acrimonious and bitter.

Just watched a re-run of the Watford game. Raheem has settled in very well and is not out of place playing alongside the world's best. Great business from us.
When he knocked the ball past the right back and beat 3 defenders for dead, where Gomes got lucky just missing the post. He should do this more often in my opinion and I'm sure he will do. He's effective anyway in this team at the minute but I think we may see him even more effective in the champions league.

A little off topic but it's all about perception you only have to look at the varying opinions about players and managers on here, each person is right in their own little world
