He's clearly been learning from Silva. Loves to do Silva's trademark, stop and spin that he does so beautifully. Slightly disappointed he didn't run at opponents much today. I do hope we don't coach some of his directness out of him with our possession based football.

Saved yourself with those brackets, you nearly got directed to Lou Macari's chippy! Agree England need a central playmaker. Joe's never had so many back passes from mid field. He's gonna feel well left out this weekend.
 
Last night he struggled more as was double marked, something which when happens against us frees up a lot of space for Silva, Aguero etc. With England the standard is not so high so you don't see the advantage to the team as much
 
ian wright did a hatchet job on the TV regarding sterling , and yet praised milners contribution , my thoughts were that milner did f*ck all , and sterling won the penalty to secure the game and start the rughead w*nkfest , Maybe the fact that sterling cost £150m (including wages) and milner cost zero (and is playing for the love of the game and no remuneration) clouded wrights judgement , the gooner pr*ck
 
I just hope that when he gets back to Manchester, Vinny takes him to one side and tells him to keep that diving shit for England games, as their fans accept it, we fucking won't.

It wasn't a dive. There was contact, in that situation, you go down.
