It's standard to have 4 weeks off after the World Cup, but if the 3 Argies and Fernandinho do, they'll miss the Charity Shield and barely be back for the start of the season. What will happen there...? Zaba and Demichelis in particular badly need a rest after how much they played. Aguero was injured so much, I doubt he's tired, just lacking any sort of sharpness.

They will have to have a couple of weeks off like every other fucker in the country unless your a teacher

I don't see why we'd need to rush any of them back into action. We've got depth at all of their positions now and especially with Aguero we need to be careful to let him rest and recover.

I'm talking about the accumulation of games from last season and the World Cup. Zaba and Demichelis played nearly every week, while Aguero spent half of the season in the hospital.

We should be fine. We have Sagna who can fill in for Zab, just signed a 32m CH who didn't play at all in the WC and Dzeko, Negredo and Jovetic for Aguero. No need to play any of them in a friendly vs Arsenal.

Demichelis played 33 games for us in all comps plus the 3 in the world cup. Over 20 less than Zabaleta

Yes, but Demichelis is almost 34 and played 90 minutes in *every* league game from week 21 to 38 of the season. But I'm not here for a pedantic argument, Aguero should not be worn out after last season. He played in only 8 of our last 22 league games and 90 minutes in only one of those 8 games.

I'd really like to see him stick one in during the preseason tour, he needs to get over this asap.

The Aguero I have seem this World Cup looks championship standard at best!

He needs a rest, it's very clear he has major injury issues. I just hope Argentina haven't fucken him for this coming season
