Re: Sergio Aguero

I think he'll take the defeat worse than any other Argentinean player. He's had a bad tournament and as a player of his quality, it hurts that you've contributed so little to the team. I feel Zabba and Martin will be mentally ready for our new season because, when they look back at it, they've had a great tournament. I'm just hoping that Kun is able to rebound from this and own next season.

I'd really like to see him stick one in during the preseason tour, he needs to get over this asap.

I'm sorry but. I hope that's not you being selfish.

The Aguero I have seem this World Cup looks championship standard at best!

He needs a rest, it's very clear he has major injury issues. I just hope Argentina haven't fucken him for this coming season

Agreed, he just does not look himself since the injuries. We need our four strikers and might need to rotate them before injuries persist.

Who stood up to take a pen - who hid away?

A bit harsh but so was your statement.

Couldn't agree more about zaba and MDM but I think the only reason sergio has had a bad tournament is his fitness. A fully fit aguero is a completely different prospect. The guy needs a break.

Re: Sergio Aguero

......needs a month off to soak up the sun and rest his weary bones. Clearly a shadow of himself during the WC, but needs must, so he did what he could for his country.....which was not much.

Rather see him come back fresh and fit in September, if necessary, than start the season on the wrong foot and never get sorted.

MDM looked solid, but was in no-mans land for the German goal. Garay no help. Overall, great WC for him and his reputation.

Zaba....feel SO sorry for him. Left everything on the field every game. Hope he gets some much needed rest, as he deserves it! He could spend the next month on the beach and STILL walk into my team!

True but he is one of the best strikers in the world and not contributing a goal or an assist for a player of his quality is disappointing. I know he had injury problems but I can't help but fear that Serg may blame himself for not showing his true self on the world stage.

Re: Sergio Aguero

He is not fit or worse for us still carrying an injury, non existent as a player in this tournament , worrying very worrying wretched season for us last year to boot as well .
Certain the club will do what they can but pray he can recover to be the player we know and love because he is a shadow of where he was in 2012/2013.

Agree but I don't think he'll see it that way. There's 2 way it could go from now : he can either rebound strongly and own next season or can just get into a slump from the defeat. I certainly hope it's the former.

Re: Sergio Aguero

Here is one area where I completely trust mp, the lad obviously needs time to get himself right and I believe pellets will give it to him, probably under the guise of another 'injury'. Hopefully he'll get til late August, early sept and ease him back into the first team.
