If those twats Barca and MADrid come sniffing around our Serg, they will die.
They won't. Barça have Messi Neymar and Suarez, and Madrid have a striker whose whole game gets the best out of CRonaldo as well as scoring 25+ goals every season himself (Benzema).
Neither team will want to break either of that up.

Re: Sergio Aguero

Now if only his team mates would step it up to his level, it is almost December after all.

Unbelievable player.

Re: Sergio Aguero

The second goal was perfection in my eyes.

He gets the ball about 35-40 yards from goal and within two touches he's in the box and his third is a shot.

Too often do players get put through on goal and overthink it and subsequently overdo it. Intent, that's what great players show.

Re: Sergio Aguero

Is it only me that thought he was pretty average tonight ?

Obviously he won us the game with his three goals, and that makes the headlines, rightly so, but he made a lot of poor decisions before the last 5 minutes for me, trying too hard, or just not willing to play others in.

He's such a danger though, and at the moment utterly clinical, I thought he'd missed his second, looked like he miss kicked it from the other end, then I saw the replay on the big screen, what a finish, the only place that he could put it to score. The determination for the winner, not many have that, most wouldn't have scored it, just like May 2012.

I agree with you that he didn't have the best if games. Thought he was quite selfish, same against Swansea. But in this form so he should be. Also agree about the second goal, I thought he'd kicked the pitch and hit it wide.

Bang on mate, apart from that hattrick and those two individual finishes that won us the game he was completely average

:)

Its OK, the headlines will always be the goals, rightly so, without him this season, we're out of the PL, and CL. It was constructive criticism nothing else, it was far from his best game for us, goals or not, still at least he celebrated tonight.

On a side note, his tackle on Neuer after the second goal, to get the ball, before more time was wasted was excellent.

Re: Sergio Aguero

Arguably the best finisher we've ever had. Certainly in my 30 years watching City. I know its a bit of a cliché but imo if he was wasn't 'selfish' he wouldn't score as many as he does.

I thought Frannie Lee was prolific but Sergio is THE MAN

Re: Sergio Aguero

Absolutely unbelievable performance.

A hat-trick to beat Bayern Munich in the Champion's League.

Just let that sink in.
