As others have said; no way would the manager and the rest of the team have let him walk off with an injury that was serious.
True, there are too many small minded weak pessimistic cnuts on here.

Yes., but it's only because we all love him to the bits. It was sad to see the tears. Hope it was rather because he was gutted at the thought of missing crucial game against roma than the nature of injury.
Was he crying? Gulp.

He's out for 5-6 wks. Not going in to how I know but it's true

I feel so sorry for Kun. It looked like it happened when Besic shoved him over off the ball.

That's a blow at any time. However because that includes so many games over the Xmas/new year period, it increases the loss.

Of course we get Merlin back, so there is definite compensation. But Kun is in such rare form that he is almost irreplaceable.

Given his injury record and given that Silva, Kompany and Jovetic are close to returning you would probably take that.

If he can be back before the end of the month that would be a huge bonus but Arsenal at home would be realistic if its a similar injury to Silva's.

We certainly need as many players available as possible for the busy period ahead.

Just have to hope that whatever side we put up against Roma is good enough to get the required result assuming Bayern don't throw the game against CSKA.

So you're obviously implying the club are already aware of this information?

I'm not so sure that would be the case this early on, surely they'd need to do some time-consuming scans and tests to come up with a time-window for recovery. I accept that may be their initial thoughts but I don't imagine anything is confirmed yet.

Re: Sergio Aguero

Praying it's not season ending. MRI scan would mean they won't find out till sunday

i think your wrong de niro ,MP has to play his best available eleven, Everton can smash and grab as we know full well, lets be honest the Roma game is a bonus we never expected, we will have Silva and Dzeko up front for that a strike pairing most of the premiership would grab your hand off for
, there is no reason whatsoever we cant win in Roma without Kun

i'm still sure we'll win too, i just wish kun was travelling.

I'm not sure we will win, but to effectively try and blame the management for playing Sergio today is laughable.

Can we have your opinion prior to each game in future about when Kun should play, rather than after the event.

i am always in work till close to the ko but i said to my mates i'd bench him for this. i knew everton were going to hurt him. it is vital we get through on wednesday. we could go for players not yet cup tied in january with the offer of CL football. kun himself has now lost an oppotunity to get a few goals against the weaker sides coming up. at sunderlsnd i said during the games that we needed to keep kun fit as close to the end of december as possible so that if the enevitable injury comes we can strengthen in jan.

i hope this answer your point about my feelings towards team selction with your smary comment.

Re: Sergio Aguero

At least in NFL they diagnose a knee ligament tear quickly, within hours it's revealed. Hopefully it's just a severe sprain.
