Pellegrini has told Geoff Shreeves it could even be 8 weeks. It's all very dependant on how Aguero reacts to treatment.

We need to make sure he is fully right before he returns otherwise we'll end up in the same situation as we did for the 2nd half of last season where he kept picking up strains.

Not a fan of the fact he won't get a summer break again this year with the Copa America being played.
Here we go.

I guess the checkbook will remain closed in January then .....

I think it depends on the result tomorrow, if we lose I can't see anyone coming in; if we win, I loan player could help seeing as Jovetic is made of glass.

why depending on tomorrows result?

Because it's my view, before it even started, the people up top in City wanted us to go a lot more futher in Champions League this season. Thanks to Kun it's still possible to qualify. Aguero, Dzeko and especially Jovetic are too prone to injury. Anyone who comes in won't be playing in Champions League of course due to FFP, but it will act as cover for League and FA Cup so that Kun can get us through in Champions League.

Again this is what I think, so if anyone wants to slam it, I don't care.

fair enough points there matey, the writing was on the wall when we never replaced the beast however that's probably down to FFP again, we have certainly been screwed over with the fine and squad santions, i'd love it if we do it tomorrow just to stick it up there arses ;-)

City 4-6 weeks. So we'll be lucky to see him by March.

We don't seem to have a great record in predicting when players will regain fitness do we? But once or twice players have come back quicker than expected so fingers crossed.

One of the reports I read said that the "minimum 4 weeks" statement was based on the results of his first scan. That the club will be arranging a second scan once the swelling goes down, and we would have a much better idea after that scan. Presumably "4-6 weeks" is based on the first scan.

Yep, I know he dropped off after his shoulder injury, but I've missed his contribution. Not that I blame City though - like for the reasons you give. Next season when we're free of it all it's going to be great. In the mean time I hope we do it for Kun tomorrow!

Re: Sergio Aguero

He will be a unused sub when arsenal visit and we,ll be 4 points clear of Chelsea at the top and we,ll beat arsenal 4-1
