I would think there is little chance of him being on the bench at Goodison, regardless of the MEN report. They won't rush him back.

Maybe not, but it's nice to know his return is imminent.

Re: Sergio Aguero

If he is back and firing on all cylinders for the Chelsea game and stays fit for the rest of the season, bar any epidemic of injuries to the rest of the spine of the squad, it's difficult for me to see any other outcome than a PL title and a CL semi at the very least this season.

Our current odds to win the Premier League are astonishing.

Exactly my thoughts. If we can keep him fit, as well as steering Vinny clear of injury, i think we will win the league by a few points.

The main reason being that I think Chelsea will go further in the CL, and like last year, they will take their eye off the prize they have more chance of winning.

Regarding the odds, I can't believe were 2/1 with some bookies, yet Chelsea are odds on. They don't learn do they :)

They also have some fixture congestion coming up - 2 COC semi finals and possibly (probably) the final as well, as well as (probably) at least 2 more games in the FA Cup

The bookies have factored the agenda into their odds.

I don't bet but there was a time last season I saw we were either 3-1 or 5-1 and I said to a few people that that was as good a bet as you are ever going to get.

I've a feeling that the return of the prodigals could set this season on fire and eclipse last season as the best in the club's history. If you can get 2/1 on City then that's fantastic odds. I don't even see it as a straight two horse race: there is much more to come from us and I'm not sure there is from them. We are better and the odds don't sound to reflect that.

Re: Sergio Aguero

Was at Bridgewater Hospital this afternoon apparently according to Ian Ladyman. City have confirmed to him that it was a routine check up
