I'd suggest that the last thing he needs is squats for any other reason than stretching. Do you not think he needs to be working on a more limited programme weights wise?
While Marvin could be right with his genetically gifted theory......im still of the mind that during his early development, heavy leg work has been performed.Possibly the quads are overpowering the Hammys which is causing imbalance and injury? Id agree about limited weight work now.,stretching and conditioning would be my priority.

So pleased to hear he could be back v Arsenal. If he's now in training surely that puts him in contention for a starting spot?
Let's hope so. If it was just a "pain" injury rather than his usual muscular ones you'd think there's little risk of aggravating it again. Once the pain is gone it should be gone.

Whether he'll start or not who knows though, on paper Bony has done a good job of late, plenty of goals & assists. Wouldn't do his confidence much to get dropped immediately (even if everyone knows Aguero is the superior player).

It sounded to me like he jarred/bruised something and there was a pain/swelling issue that simply stopped him from training. I disagree with Bony though, I think he's done very well, but for a game this big we need aguero.

I wouldn't start either, same XI that started against BMG for me.

We need to learn our lesson, the season is long and having Aguero for ten games is more important than risking him in one even if it's against Arsenal. We should setup as we did at the swamp and make Arsenal try to beat us. If we play with a "false 9" in Sterling we may get some opportunities on the break to then exploit them. We didn't play on the break well at the swamp but we can nail it on Monday. Dropping Bony would damage his confidence but we could still play on the counter with him in the side, the ball usually sticks when it's played up to him and with pace running off him we can win the game. Plus he adds height for set pieces, at both ends.

Wouldn't be surprised if he scored against Arsenal and then went 3 or 4 games without a goal. That tends to be the case when Kun is returning from an injury.
