How many of our injuries are down to bad tackles out of the ones we have? Can't remember the last time someone got sent off against City for a bad tackle.

Agreed when he doesn't its a bad sign as his fingers should be working.
Even if its not so good news we want to know.

I think if it was ligament damage he wouldn't have returned to the bench but only scans will tell the tale so we will have to wait until Tuesday I suggest.

Had ice pack round knee area hopefully it's just bruising and slightly swollen from an awful challenge...
 
It looked like more like a hard knock than an injury. Painful but no 'damage'.
I hate to say it but there's just always going to be some players who kick out at him.

Mangala broke up a counter with a tough challenge but he stayed low. Dann went high and was completely unnecessary and deserved a sending off for me. There is a way to break up an attack without going at a guy's knees.

The saving grace was it was just a kick in the knee. Most likely nothing structural at all. Just see how he responds to treatment and how quickly swelling comes out.
 
No need to rush him back in the team, we got enough quality to replace him for the next 3 games. Get him fit and ready for Spurs game.
