If he didnt play aguero and we failed to win Pellegrini would have been lambasted with abuse. Couldnt win both ways. Plus the internationals didnt have any effect on his injury it was just a nasty challenge, could happen in any game.

Agree, I think the lineup was slightly risky, but nobody would have foreseen that assault on Aguero, and most importantly we got the three points.

"Fresh" in context ...like jetlag fresh or fresh like not fit due to injury?
I think Kun was bit jetlagged and we all are aware of his injury history.
Being a bit jet lagged can't compensate for getting whacked on the knee by that Palace twat. He looked pretty fresh for the 25 mins he played.

Clubs in other European leagues can afford to rest key players prior to Champs league games as their domestic leagues are easier than the prem.
And there we have it, Palace is never a walk in the park, and with their good start and over zealous tackling it was always going to be tough
Hence it was an excellent result especially as we were missing three of our four stars

Next game is against Juve in three days.
Kun just got back from international game.
Bony was fresh.
If anything, id rather we played our strongest side away to Palace and if Aguero needed a rest then play Bony against Juve. I get your point though. :)

I love the backseat driving that goes on here. Any player can get injured at any given time ffs, especially when dirty fucking cloggers decide to give them a whack right on the knee. We could always rest him every game I suppose, that way he'll never get another injury in his career.

This is one of the top 5 footballers in the world, if he's fit, he plays.
Lol, I like that. All true too.
