Player topic: Sergio Aguero (2015/16)

We need Aguero firing against Spurs as he has a tremendous record against them. Goals are coming from everywhere right now but if we want to win this league we need our star striker on top form soon.

Where has the idea come from that he always needs a few games to find his feet? He was injured going into the World Cup, and after it ahead of last season. He came on against Newcastle and scored, the same against Liverpool. Look at the run he went on at the start of last season in terms of scoring.

His head just doesn't seem there at the moment? He looks to be really lacking confidence and conviction. Imagine how good we would be, and will be, when he finds his form!!

Either way mate I don't think it counts in this instance as he's played in 6 prem games, a carling cup, champions league and a couple for argentina! That's a long time to find your feet. He didn't start them all but that's still way more than enough. Personally I think he's had his ego massaged a bit too much and needs bringing down a peg. There was an instance in the west ham game where de Bruyne had the ball at the edge of their area and aguero just trotted over and took it off him, and it was like no mate ginger kev can do more with it there than you can, he's a better player than you at the moment, you get in the box and give him something to aim for. Just doesn't sit right at the moment but hopefully he's embarrassed himself enough in these last 2 games to pull his finger out. Pretty confident it will happen sooner or later I just hope he doesn't cost us more points like he did against west ham in the meantime. *braces self for bluemoon plebs*

Although his build up play was better yesterday his strike form is still of concern.
Two more misses last night that he would normally bury in his sleep.

It seems his kicking at Palace has just taken him down a notch, just needs a couple of goals to get his confidence going again.

He does seem badly out of sorts at the moment. Hopefully it's just a post-Copa America hangover, and he'll be back to his best soon.

i may be wrong and i hope i am but aguero looks a bit disinterested to me, almost as if he`s got personal problems again, i hope i`m wrong and he`s just pissed off with his mis-firing.

Better get rid of Bonyitis if we wanna see Aguero score ever again

When he scores one he'll score a load. He has missed a couple of sitters and lacked composure but he's just rushing things because he's so desperate to score. People are over playing things. He'll tear Spuds a new one and that will set him off.
