He doesnt look his normal happy self but I think its because there not going in for him.

Last night when he rounded the keeper and then switched feet for eg. To me thats a sign of lacking in confidence due to a few baron games. Nothing more than that.
Fortunately he scored the pen or his confidence would have been well and truly smashed.

He'll get one, then another and he'll be off again.

Should be told to not to go looking for the ball stay central around the last defender and wait for one of Silva KDB Navas or sterling to give it him and tell him then to shoot on site! All this him coming into midfield left wing right wing looking for the ball he shouldn't be doing, save his energy for around the opponents penalty area

Plenty of scaremongering going on, simply because he has had a slow start in the opening games.

People looking for excuses, but he got a nasty old kick the other week and he's now trying a little too hard to force things.

His luck will turn and when it does...

It must just be a mild confidence thing, I noticed he was reluctant to shoot with his left foot last night, two clear opportunities to get a shot away with his left, including the one round the keeper but he chose to cut back on to the right. That has to be confidence right? because he's normally deadly with either foot

The only reason I'm worried is because for me, it doesn't stem from that tackle against Palace. He was poor against Everton away, Watford at home and barely got a kick during his time at Palace. Having said that, he had an amazing international break in between those games so it's a difficult one to figure out

Yes, I think it's a confidence problem too - there's not a lot wrong with the rest of his game, he's still getting into good positions and making intelligent runs behind the defence as he did for that glaring miss last night. I reckon he's frightened of missing at the moment which is why he wants those extra touches and is taking the ball onto his right foot all the time.

If he doesn't score against Spurs I may start to worry.
