Well, from here, I see him getting plenty of flak. He's doing all the right things so it's a matter of time for me before he starts banging them IMO.

I don't see that much flak to be honest, and perhaps rightly so given his track record, but there does come a point when you ask "whats happened". As for doing all the right things, not having that, with four or five clear cut chances missed, and not picking the easy ball to a free Sterling in the second half, he is clearly not. We are all hoping he gets back to normal, but pretending what you are seeing isn't happening. or worse still having a go at others when the game should have been won by half time, isn't the answer.

Aside from the missed chances looked much sharper tonight. Pace was back and for the first time in weeks was able to run away from defenders. The goals will come.

He was really unlucky with those from a couple yards out, 99/100 they go in.

Looked dangerous today, 2 of the chances the keeper made great saves & would usually have gone in - giving him a hat trick. Still just not quite happening for him, but improvements are showing & soon enough they'll stop getting saved & nestle in the net.

Coolness personified from the penalty spot. Good job.

Looked good to me - sharper than he's been all season, and his touch was excellent all game. Unlucky with a couple of chances, their keeper made a couple of great, if slightly fortuitous, saves. Cool as fuck with the pen, too - which was, even at this stage, a huge moment in our season.
Only a matter of time before he starts rattling goals in again.

He looked a lot sharper tonight but just missing the finish. However the goalie made s brilliant save from the one right at the end. He looks closer just in time for international break :(

I could see glimpses of the normal Sergio tonight. Just needs the goal to get his mojo back. Hopefully it comes against Newcastle on Saturday.
